Manas Bal Lake and Kheer Bhawani Temple

The next day was a Monday and I was supposed to visit Gulmarg, but a tourist at the hotel told me that Gondola ride was closed on Monday and therefore told my travel agent that I would visit Manasbal Lake and Kheer Bhavani Temple.
I went for a Shikara ride in Manasbal lake and it is surrounded by the Himalayas.
I visited the Kheer Bhavani temple, a Raja Rajeshwari temple.
It seems Swami Vivekananda had visited that place just a year before he passed away. If the water surrounding the Shrine is dark, it means a warning of a danger else good things happen in your life.
But I didn't observe if water was dark or bright.
I had the Seemeakki Payasa(Kheer) prasada they distributed, then had lunch at Srinagar and returned to the hotel room.
