Next morning I left to Pahalgham from Srinagar.
On the outskirts of the city, I saw the saffron gardens although there were no flowers there.
We reached Pahalgham and there I had to hire a horse in order to go the tourist spots in the Kashmiri Valley.
The entire route was filled with snow. We rode until we reached a spot called as Money Switzerland.
And let me tell you the view there was breathtaking and all that we could see around us was snow and snow filled mountains.
This place is very close to Indo-China border.
I had something to eat and we rode back to where my taxi was waiting for me.
We couldn't go to Chandawari, the base camp of Amarnath as it had been closed due to snow fall.
