The next day was a Wednesday and we began our journey towards Sonamarg. On the way we could see Amarnath mountain completely filled with snow.
It was a very sunny day and the entire region glittered like gold.
I had to take another taxi to go the various tourist spots.
At one tourist spot I took a sledge to reach the spot and there I saw an Avalanche remains, actually we were standing next to it and I stared at it in awe.
We then reched a bridge called Zero bridge because the temperature on it is zero degree celsius.
Crossing this bridge we reached a village caled Kulhan. The villagers here are very friendly, I shook hands and spoke to some of them, visited a Kashmiri house and then returned to my taxi.
On the way back we got a beautiful glimpse of the surrounding mountains filled with snow and we saw the remains of numerous Avanlanches.
This place is enchanting. I had lunch at a restaurant there and then I returned to Srinagar.
